At this instant, Samsung clearly does not want people to work a lot. The South Korean smartphone giant has innovated a new computer mouse that is unlike the typical mouse. This is because it is exclusively designed to stop people from overworking. Debuted as the Samsung Balance Mouse, it runs away from the desk the moment you start working a lot. To add to our imagination, Samsung’s mouse not only works like a ‘real mouse’ but also looks like one. However, it is unavailable in the market yet as currently, as the mouse is still a concept. The company created it in collaboration with an ad agency.

The Samsung Balance Mouse was first spotted in a video posted on Samsung’s Korean YouTube channel. If you are wondering the motive behind ideating this mouse, it is simple and plain. The main motto behind the mouse is to improve the work-life balance in Korea. In its video, Samsung stated that a majority of office workers are hesitant to get off work on time. In fact, people are always under extreme pressure to finish their pending work before calling it off. Moreover, they are loaded with extra work at frequent times.

Can Samsung actually solve the issue of overworking?

Samsung further stated in its video that its Balance Mouse will solve this very problem of overworking. According to the company, it is not a typical mouse. In fact, it has the ability to stop people from overworking. It added: “When working overtime, this innovative product reveals its genuine features. It detects hand movements, and when the chance comes, the wheels come out of the house and run away.”

In addition to the above, the video mentions that if you think you can simply grab the mouse when it tries to escape, you are wrong! This is because the Samsung Balance Mouse moves swiftly. Thus, even if you do manage to get hold of it, its core part ejects. To conclude, Samsung indeed wants people to relive their lives beyond their office spaces and after work with its (conceptualized) Balance Mouse.

iPhone 14 Models: What do we have?  

Consequently, Apple launched the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus on 7 September. Interestingly, the new iPhones come with few new features, have a familiar design and more. Another key point is that the iPhone 14 Plus replaces the older “iPhone 13 mini” model with a bigger model with a 6.7-inch screen.

Price of the iPhone 14 Series:  

• iPhone 14: $799 (Rs. 79,000) 
• iPhone 14 Plus: $899 (Rs. 89,000) 
• iPhone 14 Pro: $999 (Rs 1,29,900) 
• iPhone 14 Pro Max: $1099 (Rs. 1,39,900)

As has been noted, preorders will start on Sept 9 and the smaller version will go on sale on Sept. 16. However, the Plus model won’t ship until October 2022. According to Apple, all US iPhone 14 models will no longer use physical SIM cards. In fact, these will be replaced with a digital eSIM that can support multiple phone numbers and also offer better security.

 Here are some brief updates on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models:  

• will continue with the older A15 Bionic chipset
• five colors including a new light blue
• improved battery life
• ceramic screens that are more durable
• better low-light performance on the front-facing camera

• Pill-shaped notch, with Apple converting it into a ‘dynamic island’ for displaying animations, notifications based on the app that’s open
• better low-light photography and redesigned flash for iPhone 14 Pro

To clarify, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max are Apple’s high-end products. As has been stated, the products will be open to preorder starting on 7 September and will go live for sale on 16 September.

Apple’s AirPods Pro 

To begin with, the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) has an enhanced listening experience with active noise-cancellation. Moreover, the price of $249 (Rs 19,851.82). Above all, the AirPods will go on sale on 23 September.

Here are the features of the AirPods Pro 2nd Generation:  

• Better sound quality and clarity
• H2 chip on the inside
• New touch control to adjust the volume
• Longer battery life with up to 6 hours of listening time
• A smaller extra-small ear tip
• A speaker added to the case
• Can be charged with MagSafe chargers.

In fact, according to Apple, the noise cancellation on the new models is twice as good as before.

Apple Watch Series 8 and Watch Ultra 

On the positive side, the Apple Watch Series 8 now has a body temperature sensor to help women know when they are ovulating. It also comes with crash detection when driving and supports international roaming. As a matter of fact, it will be available for pre-order today and the sale starts on September 16. Above all, Apple has also revealed the Watch SE 2 as well.

Meanwhile, the new Apple Watch Ultra is geared for the pros. It comes with a special 49mm case, which also makes it one of the biggest displays on an Apple Watch. In addition to that, the Ultra version also gets a dedicated action button and goes on sale on September 23.

He was eventually found and raised by a tribe of nomadic Gypsies. The Gypsies’ leader took Bison under her wing and trained him in the art of Soul Power. In fact, her decision, while noble, resulted in many years of suffering.

10. Bowser – Super Mario Bros

“I’m bad, and that’s good. I will never be good, and that’s not bad. There’s no one I’d rather be than me.”

Back Story: So far, Bowser appeared as the main antagonist of the majority of Super Mario games, but also made appearances as either a minor villain or even a hero in several other games. As with most major Nintendo characters, he appears in most of the sports and party games of the Mario franchise. His stats in those games make him obviously destructive and powerful, but a little slow. In a few RPGs, he also sometimes teams up with Mario and Luigi.

Be Authentic with New Instagram Feature 

According to Meta, a anwesha is circling around. It is similar to BeReal, the social media app that has recently exploded in terms of popularity. However, the proclaimed “IG Candid” was discovered by leaker Alessandro Paluzzi. According to Paluzzi, this new Instagram feature prompts the users to share an authentic photo at a random time each day.   

Paluzzi posted a screenshot with Instagram’s description of how the feature could work.  The screenshot read: “Add other’s IG Candid to your story tray. And every day at a different time, get a notification to capture and share a Photo in 2 Minutes.”

According to Meta, the company is testing the IG candid feature in a statement given to The Verge.  Meta spokesperson Christine Pai said, “This feature is an internal prototype, and not testing externally. That suggests there’s no definite timeline for when the feature might become available publicly if it even releases at all.” 

Is it Meta’s other attempt at cloning? 

Given how Meta and other social media giants have responded to other popular apps over the years, we can assume that Instagram will eventually release a response to BeReal if it continues to be popular. Also there is a perception it is very important to buy Instagram followers to get famous instantly on this platform. Moreover, when Snapchat’s stories feature became popular, IG launched a Stories feature of its own. In fact, IG Reels is obviously a response to the popularity of TikTok.  

To date, Meta is far from being the only tech giant to launch a clone or two. YouTube Shorts is another transparent attempt to cash in on the popularity of vertically shot short-form videos, and Twitter was quick to roll out Spaces in response to the popularity of Clubhouse. 

It’s not the first time Meta has been accused of imitating BeReal. Around the time BeReal was gaining popularity, it widely rolled out a new feature called Dual, which allows you to take photos or videos with both your phone’s front and rear cameras at the same time. People were quick to point out the BeReal similarities, but Dual differs in that it allows you to capture the content whenever you want, rather than waiting for a daily notification. However, one former Instagram product designer claims that the Dual feature had been in development for several years and that its release around the time of BeReal’s meteoric rise was simply “convenient.”

Signs of Early Availability  

A new report on the iPhone 14 production hinted toward an early availability of the product. However, according to a new report, Apple will abandon any hope of achieving this. Certainly, challenges in the supply chain were a major obstacle. However, Apple felt it would be impossible to achieve the same level of secrecy in India as it does in China.   

To date, Apple has been making slow progress toward decreasing its dependency on China for manufacturing. Moreover, the initiative has increased as the threat of disruption in China and Taiwan has become more real.   

iPhone 14 Production in India 

Coming to India, Apple has made the most progress. Initially, only the iPhone SE was initially assembled there. However, the range of models has gradually expanded—with the iPhone 13 joining the lineup earlier in 2022.  While Foxconn is Apple’s lead supplier in the country, responsible for all of the iPhone 13 production, Wistron makes the iPhone SE and iPhone 12.  

Moreover, a device that looked something like the iPhone 14 was spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).  

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the device was filed under the model number “A2882”. Speculators believe it to correspond to one of the standard iPhone 14 models. The iPhone 13 model numbers are A2482, A2631, A2634, A2635, and A2633. Therefore, this is the very first time someone officially saw the new model. 

What could this mean?   

The recent spotting hints that the launch is imminent. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 14 lineup on September 7, on a Wednesday event. According to Gurman, Apple will begin the iPhone 14 production in India two months after shipping the first waves of devices out of China. This is because manufacturing partners attempt to replicate the complex iPhone supply chain operation in another country for the very first time.   

In addition to that, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that iPhone 14 production will begin simultaneously in India and China. Moreover, the latest report says that the most ambitious target now is for iPhone 14 production to begin in India in late October. So, what could this entire fiasco mean?

Reportedly, the iPhone 14 (and the iPhone 14 Max) model will be available in the following colors:

Purple/lavender

Apple introduced the beautiful lavender iPhone 12 the following spring. Expectedly, lavender/purple could be a new shade for the iPhone 14 this year. The iPhone 13 is not available in a purple shade yet. Since it is a new shade and an attractive one, we can expect the iPhone 14 range to be available in this shade. This is also mainly because it has leaked at least twice.

Green/Alpine Green

Another popular shade to make rounds in the rumor is green. Although we are not certain about this one as of now (since the iPhone 13 model is available in green), we cannot make a definite prediction yet. Moreover, one source has mentioned the iPhone 14 range in this particular color.

Black

Black is one of the expected colors although the closest current iPhone 13 is dark blue or Midnight blue. Apple can probably offer the upcoming iPhone 14 range in this shade because it is one of the most popular smartphone colors.

At least two sources have suggested that a black shade is planned. Although it’s not a color we’re terribly thrilled by, it’s a safe, understated choice that looks smart and will appeal to many.

White

The closest neighbor of the black shade is the white one, or Starlight. It is a color that Apple is currently offering in its iPhone 13 lineup. Therefore, Apple might continue with this shade for its upcoming iPhone 14 range.

Blue

We can also expect a blue shade because it is another popular color out there. It is less likely than black or white because it is less of a standard shade. However, it is available on current iPhones and has been rumored by multiple sources.

Red

Red is Apple’s favorite color. So, a red iPhone 14 has always been likely, especially plausible here since two sources have already mentioned the same.  We can expect a bright red shade, officially called PRODUCT(RED). Moreover, sales in this color contribute to the fight against global health emergencies.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max Colors

Below are the colors we can expect for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max:

• Gold or Rose Gold
• Purple
• Green
• Graphite
• Silver
• iPhone 14 range: The Missing Shades

Although we cannot entirely guarantee the above colors, we can still Apple to launch them. Rumors around Apple and its products, especially the iPhone 14 range, have been around for a long time. If these rumors are true, we will probably not see the iPhone 14 range in pink.

The TSMC 3nm M2 Pro Chips 

According to the report, TSMC will begin the production of 3nm chips for Apple by the end of 2022. However, a separate report from the publication claimed that TSMC will begin the mass production of 3nm chips in September 2022.   

Usually, TSMC commences its high-volume manufacturing or HVM of a new mode between March and May. It does so to garner enough time for producing enough chips for Apple’s latest iPhones, which will generally launch in the month of September. However, the development of TSMC’s N3 node took longer than usual. As a result, Apple’s upcoming smartphone chips will use a different node this time.   

Contrastingly, the first 3nm chips from TSMC will reach the HVM milestone only in September. This results later as compared to what TSMC originally promised (a couple of months delay versus typical schedules). Still, the company will meet its goal of starting N3 production in the second half of the year.  

Will it be used this year? 

Further according to the report, the M2 Pro chip may be the first to use TSMC’s advanced nm process. Moreover, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s previous claim states that Apple plans to use the M2 Pro chip for its upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models and a high-end Mac mini, which could be announced later this year or in the first half of next year.  

Essentially, Apple’s A17 Bionic chip for 2023’s iPhone 15 Pro models as well as the M3 chip will be manufactured based on the TSMC’s 3nm process. The Commercial Times confirmed this claim. To begin with, Apple products transitioning from TSMC’s 5nm process to 3nm process would result in faster performance. It will also enable an improved power efficiency for future Macs and iPhones, which could contribute to longer battery life. Apple has nearly finished its two-year transition away from Intel processors in the Mac. However, only the high-end Mac mini and the Mac Pro tower have yet to switch over to Apple silicon chips.

The New Version: Nothing OS 1.1.3 

Irrespective of how the hype around Nothing has slowed down now, the company has ensured reviving the hype. Nothing is doing so by rolling out new firmware releases regularly.   

Released in mid-July, the Nothing Phone 1 received a new over-the-air (OTA) firmware update like improvements to the camera, UI, performance improvements, and bug fixes. The new Nothing OS 1.1.3 offers various improvements to the phone’s camera. This is rather exciting news for those who prefer clicking lots of selfies! With the latest Nothing OS 1.1.3, the camera advances with improved clarity, especially the front-facing camera. Here are the major upgrades available in the Nothing OS 1.1.3  

• • • There are improvements in the processing times for photos and videos taken in the Night Mode with HDR settings.   
    • Photos taken with the ultra-wide-angle camera will have better color saturation.  
    • The latest update offers reduced camera noise and increased sharpness when using zoom.   
    • Additionally, the phone will give reminders to clean the camera lens, in case there are smudges.  
    • The update delivers a redesigned UI for fingerprint verification when used with third-party apps  
    • For people looking for more performance from the phone’s battery, Nothing has enabled the option to turn on Google’s Adaptive Battery. The feature can learn usage patterns and greatly improve battery life.   
    • There are also tweaks applied that fix stuttering issues caused by apps like Twitter and the Google Play Store.    

Fixing Previous Issues 

Previously, Nothing Phone’s hotspot had some issues which are why it was not working. However, the latest update has resolved this issue. Finally, a bug that caused the lock screen to crash when a notification was tapped has been fixed. In addition to minor UI changes, general bug fixes have been implemented. The 64.33MB update is currently available via OTA download. Of course, you can sideload the update, but you should read our guide first, which will walk you through the process on your Nothing Phone 1. What’s happening at the iPhone 14 launch event?  

The much anticipated and awaited iPhone 14 launch event will be on September 7. According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will begin the pre-order for the new iPhone 14 range on September 9. Following this, the company will start deploying the first orders on September 16.  

According to the report, Apple has instructed some retail employees to “prepare for a major new product release on September 16.” As expected, the product launch event will be virtual. However, some members of the press may be invited for hands-on opportunities as well as private briefings.   

The report read: “Apple Inc. is aiming to hold a launch event on Sept. 7 to unveil the iPhone 14 line, according to people with knowledge of the matter, rolling out the latest version of a product that generates more than half its sales.” 

“The new iPhones will kick off a busy fall product season, which will also include multiple new Macs, low-end and high-end iPads, and three Apple Watch models.” 

This time, Apple plans to stream the event online instead of holding an in-person gathering. Through this, the company will continue an approach it adopted during the beginning of the pandemic. Since Apple launches are highly polished affairs, employees have already started recording the presentation’s segments over the past few weeks.  

It is rare and quite unlikely of Apple to hold an iPhone event on a Wednesday. However, this year’s iPhone 14 launch event makes sense. This is because, as we predicted, Monday (September 5) is a holiday in the US. Given the September 7 date, we can expect invitations to roll out on September 1.  

What to expect from the iPhone 14 launch event 

Given the September 7 date for new iPhones and Apple Watches, we can expect new devices available to buy toward the middle of the month. This year’s iPhone 14 launch event is also coinciding with the release of iOS 16. Moreover, Gurman adds that Apple Store employees have been told to prepare for a September 16 launch.  

Oftentimes, Apple holds an iPad as well as a Mac event in October to complement the September event. In October, we can expect to see updates on those products including the release of macOS Ventura and the (delayed) iPadOS 16. According to Gurman’s predictions, we can expect to see a USB-C version of the lower-end iPad, new M2-based iPad Pros, and updated Mac Mini and MacBook Pro models before the end of 2022, alongside other major launches in the September event.  

Major Upgrades we can expect from the iPhone 14 range  

According to Gurman, we can expect the following upgrades or features in the upcoming iPhone 14 range:  

1. The standard iPhone 14 will look similar to the iPhone 13. This time, Apple will discard the 5.4-inch mini version and replace it with a 6.7-inch screen. In Gurman’s words: “This will mark the first time Apple launches a non-Pro iPhone with a display of that size.” 

2.  Apple also has plans for bigger changes for the iPhone 14 Pro line. It will replace the notch. Instead, we will have a pill-shaped hole for Face ID sensors and a hole-punch-sized area for the camera. This will definitely help users with more screen space. Moreover, Apple is adding a faster chip to the iPhone 14 Pro. “Apple, meanwhile, will retain the A15 chip from the iPhone 13 in the regular iPhone 14 models,” says Gurman.  

3. Gurman further adds, “The most significant changes to the iPhone 14 Pro will be to the camera system, which will appear slightly larger to consumers.” This time, the Pro models will have a 48MP wide-angle camera against a 12MP ultrawide and telephoto sensors. Simultaneously, Apple is also planning improvements to video regarding battery life.

From possible price, likely specs, and camera upgrades to potential price, we have dissected and decoded them all. In fact, we have had leaks from renowned leak gurus. For instance, analyst Kuo had previously cited a delay in shipment due to issues related to the camera’s lens. Let us now look at all the iPhone 14 leaks we know so far.  

Here are the iPhone 14 latest rumors    

1. The iPhone 14 series ASP (average selling price) “will increase by about 15% vs iPhone 13 series ASP,” says Kuo. 15% is significantly higher than previous price leaks. However, it hints at a potential $1300 entry-level iPhone 14 Pro Max.   

2. The new 48MP camera can be a disappointment in low-lighting conditions. This news comes from a leaker who has allegedly used the new phone. “The new 48MP sensor is ‘the best one in a smartphone if there’s enough light’, but there’s some optimization to do regarding night mode. Source says it’s worse than the 13 Pro in that field. There’s a substantial amount of noise,” reports LeaksApplePro.  

3. A graphic designer has drawn up renders of what the iPhone 14 Pro with an always-on display could look like, using iOS 16 beta designs. Not so surprisingly, it looks great.   

4. Most importantly, the storage upgrade tipped for the iPhone 14 Pro may have been shot down by a new analyst report.   

5. Lastly, Apple could launch the iPhone 14 earlier than expected on the first Tuesday of September, rather than a week later than normal. 

iPhone 14 Leaks: Release Date and Pricing 

According to all the rumors, September 13 will be the official launch date for the iPhone 14 range. Moreover, Apple has begun filming for the iPhone 14’s debut already. Hence, it seems as if we will probably be seeing the new iPhone next month.  

Moreover, pre-orders for the iPhone 14 range might go live the Friday after the Apple event on September 16. Certainly, the phones will release a week later—on Friday, September 23 and 10 days after the rumored Apple event.  

Here comes the twist. According to one rumor, Apple could postpone its usual launch schedule by a week. If the rumor is true, we can see the new iPhone 14 on September 6! But this seems unlikely as the day comes after Labor Day and can create hindrances in the events’ preparation. In case Apple wanted to give potential customers more time to pre-order the iPhone, that would be a good way to do so without disrupting future plans. 

Now, let’s come to the pricing of the upcoming iPhone 14 range. Analyst Kuo’s new tweets say that there might be a price increase of $100. But, in return, Apple could offer 256GB as starting storage instead of 128GB. Nevertheless, the standard iPhone 14 is expected to stick at $799, according to Twitter leaker Dohyun Kim. On the other hand, the new iPhone 14 Max is tipped to cost $899. 

Here are some other rumors and iPhone 14 leaks that you should know! 

• The iPhone 14 will probably look similar to the iPhone 13. However, the Pro and Pro Max models will get a punch-hole camera instead of a notch. In fact, the iPhone 14 Max will endorse a bigger screen.  
• The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will have 6.1-inch (or 6.06-inch) 1170 x 2532 OLED screens. Whereas, the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max could have 6.7-inch (or 6.68-inch) 1284 x 2778 OLED screens. Expect a 120Hz refresh rate on the Pro models and a 60Hz refresh rate on the others. 
• The Pro and Pro Max will have 48MP main cameras (up from 12MP on the current models). All the models will have triple-lens snappers except for the standard iPhone 14, which will have 2 rear camera lenses.  
• Although rumors say iPhone 14 will have the A15 chipset again this year, it could be mildly upgraded to the A16. All phones will have 6GB, according to the rumors, but the Pro range will have faster and more advanced memory.  
• Various claims suggest the battery capacity could increase, with the phones getting thicker to house their larger batteries. One leak has detailed possible specific capacities, with them all increasing except the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
