The first Apple Event 2021 bought a lot of headlines and updates that we were desperately waiting for. Here we have covered everything that you should know about the launch of the iPhone 13, Apple Watch 7, and more.

Apple revealed the iPhone 13, new iPad 9, Apple Watch 7, and an iPad mini 6. We also saw a few service announcements for Apple Fitness Plus and Apple TV Plus.

Last year, Apple split its top launches into a series of virtual keynotes. So we were naturally anticipating multiple Apple events in the September installment as it is probably the one most people care about.

Similar to recent Apple events, this event was virtual, broadcasting from Apple Park. In October or November (or both), the company might return with other rumored products including MacBook Pro 16-inch 2021, the MacBook Pro 2021 (14-inch), and new iPads.

In fact, there is a good possibility that Apple’s this event could be the first of many this fall. This was lent further credence when someone spotted last week that the event hash flag is fully paid for until December 2021 which implied that the company might have intentions to use it again.

Either way, the new incoming devices mean only one thing that there are exciting times. But as there is a lot to keep track of, we have outlined everything you need to know about at the September 14 event.

How to Watch Apple September 2021 Event?

Apple’s latest event took place at 1 pm ET/10 am PT on September 14. If you want to rewatch it just go on Apple.com or on YouTube.

Now that we have got these covered let’s jump to the show stopper of the event, iPhone 13.

Apple September 2021 Event: iPhone 13

One of the most anticipated launches at the Apple 2021 event is the all-new iPhone 13. We can especially thank several rumors, leaks, and reports that gave us a pretty good sense of what to expect from the iPhone 13 lineup.

We believe that all four iPhone 13 models will be arriving in the same sizes as iPhone 12. They should feature larger batteries, faster A15 Bionic chip, a smaller notch, and improved 5G.

iPhone 13 Pro models could get dynamic 120Hz refresh rates, an always-on display option, and an improved ultrawide lens, too.

However, there are still some questionable rumors circulating. As in-screen TouchID is a no-go, reportedly, Apple is testing revamped Face ID hardware to work with masks. This will make it easier for users to unlock their iPhones even when their half-face is covered.

Also, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, the phone will also feature satellite communications. This will allow users to send messages without a traditional cellular collection. According to reports, this capability will work as part of a new emergency messaging feature.

Apple September 2021 Event: Apple Watch 7

Hands down Apple Watch 7 is the best Apple Watch to date. While we haven’t seen as many exciting leaks as iPhone 13 for Apple Watch 7, but we very well know of some possible changes.

For starters, the Watch might be due for a redesign after years. Instead of long curved screen chassis, sources say the Apple Watch 7 will feature flat edges. The redesign is intended to better follow the iPhone’s design language.

Besides, the Apple Watch 7 will boast a flat display, and could benefit from a “new lamination technique.” Another rumor from Weibo, a Chinese site, says that the Watch 7 will come in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm along with a new double-sided S7 processor and a battery life boost.

Even if this isn’t enough for the Apple Watch 7 to be the best smartwatch, the watch will still ship with watchOS 8. The wearable will bring precipitation alerts, a new Mindfulness app, multiple timers, support for digital keys, and much more.

According to some reports, the Apple Watch 7 could be delayed due to production woes. This leaves uncertain as to when Apple will unveil and ship it. But analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the new smartwatch is back on track and will be shipped in September.

Apple September 2021 Event: AirPods 3

AirPods 3 is likely to debut in September following the success of the AirPods Max and AirPods Pro. The company has cemented its claim as the best wireless headphones with fresh entry-level earbuds.

The AirPods 3 reportedly, in August, has entered a mass production while the company has scaled back production on current-gen AirPods.

While some reports claim that the latest model will look quite similar to AirPods Pro but without the ear tips, others suggest that it will indeed feature flexible ear tips. There are also conflicts about the inclusion and exclusion of active noise cancellation, too.

Most of the major features of AirPods 3 will most likely come as a part of iOS 15 updates. To create a more cinematic experience, the buds could get spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support. Users can also expect support for automatic switching, Headphones Accommodation for frequency adjustments to amplify soft sounds, and Hearing Health.

Now that we know all about the updates till now, let’s jump to what we know of the future.

Apple October 2021 Event: New iPad, MacBook Pro, and more

Apple’s launch-apalooza is very likely to continue into October, or even in November. Unlike the mobile and wearable-centric September event, October and November even could focus on iPads and Macs as we already know that the company Apple is working on refreshed models within both product families.

The new MacBooks are expected to feature an internal overhaul through the M1X slice of Apple Silicon and external, flat-edged redesign. The two models will be available in 16-inch MacBook Pro and the 14-inch MacBook Pro.

Though the current MacBook Pro M1 is excellent, there is always room for improvement. The company could take steps to challenge the Dell XPS 13 to win a spot on the best laptop list with a return of HDMI and an improved webcam.

The only bummer could be its price, with rumors suggesting the 14-inch MacBook Pro starts anywhere from $1,799. As for iPads, we might see both a new iPad mini and a new low-cost iPad.

The iPad mini 6 might feature iPad Pro’s full-screen design with a larger 8.5 to 9-inch display while iPad 9 could start at $299 and offer significant performance compared to the Apple iPad 2020.

Apple Events: What’s Next?

The iPhone 13,  AirPods 3, Apple Watch 7, iPad mini 6, and iPad 9, and new Macbook Pros should bring us to the end of 2021.

However, it is very common for the company to toss in a surprise product through a press release instead of the event in late December. This year some of the surprise products could be a Mac Mini 2021 or MacBook Air 2021, or perhaps something more innovative.

Other rumored products include the AirPods Pro 2, Apple Glasses which are further on the horizon, and Apple’s VR and MR headset. We also have an Apple Car that could come at some point down the road.
